Laura Aborn (1907–2005), United States
Trained at the American Conservatory in Chicago and studied composition for John Palmer. Worked as a composer for seven decades. Wrote ballet music, orchestra music, two one-act operas, and pieces for organ, solo instruments, solo voice, and choir.
