Gisèle Barreau (b. 1948), France
Studied music acoustics at the Jussieu Campus of the Pierre and Marie Curie University University, at the Paris Conservatory, and later for Olivier Messiaen. She is a professor at the Paris Conservatory. She composes for solo instrument, chamber ensemble, and orchestra, as well as electroacoustic music.
