Modesta Bor (1926–1988), Venezuela
Choral conductor, musicologist, teacher, and composer. Studied composition in Caracas; continued her studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow for Aram Chatjaturjan. Composed for orchestra, chamber ensemble, piano, and voice. Wrote more than 95 choral works and around 130 for like voices.
