Rosalind Frances Ellicott (1857–1924), England

Studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music, London, and composition for Thomas Wingham. She began by composing large works for choir and orchestra (including music for the Three Choirs Festival at Gloucester), but later shifted to chamber music. Few of her compositions have been preserved; just a few cantatas, a piano trio, and some songs.
