Ida Georgina Moberg (1859–1947), Finland

Composer and conductor. Studied at the Helsingfors Symphony Orchestra school; for Jean Sibelius; at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory; and at the Dresden Conservatory. She later also studied the Dalcroze method in Hellerau and Berlin. She composed orchestral works, pieces for men’s choir and orchestra (Vaknen, Tyrannens natt), and an opera (Asiens ljus).
