Lucia Ronchetti (b. 1963), Italy
Studied composition at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Scuola di Musica of Fiesole, and the Corsi Internazionali of Città di Castello. She also studied the humanities at the Sapienza University of Rome and at the Sorbonne. In 2005 she was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, New York.
Ronchetti has received numerous awards and distinctions. She composes for theater and the stage, for orchestra, and for chamber ensemble.
