Marianne Stuart-Bergström (1889–1970), SwedenMarianne_Stuart-Bergström

Author, music writer, composer. Studied music history at the Academy of Music in Stockholm and harmony and composition for Felix Saul, the cantor of the Great Synagogue in Stockholm (Mosaiska församlingen). She reviewed and reported on music and also wrote biographies of Jenny Lind, Anton Bruckner, and Elfrida Andrée. Her compositions include piano pieces, around 60 songs, and some pieces for salon orchestra (manuscripts held at the Swedish national music library, Statens musikbibliotek).
