Keiko Abe (b. 1937), Japan
Composer and marimba player. Studied at Tokyo Gakugei University and served as professor at the Toho Gakuen School of Music. She has taught xylophone and marimba (including on Japanese television) and released a number of recordings. She has composed around 70 pieces for various ensembles and soloists.
