Elsa Respighi, née Olivieri-Sangiacomo (1894–1996), Italy
Singer and composer, married to Ottorino Respighi (with whom she had studied composition). She wrote ballet music based on Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances Suites. She also completed her husband’s last opera, Lucrezia.
