Settimia Caccini (1591–1638), Italy
Composer and singer; the sister of Francesca Caccini and a member of the Caccini family of musicians who formed the vocal ensemble Il Concerto Caccini. Claudio Monteverdi invited her to Mantua to sing the part of Venus in his opera Arianna. Only one aria composed by Settimia Caccini is preserved: Già sperai, non spero for più (1615).
