Anna-Karin Klockar (b. 1960), Sweden
Studied cello, piano, voice, and organ; had two years of private lessons in composition before entering the Arrangement and Composition program at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm. Since completing her studies she has worked in Italy for many years, chiefly as a composer and arranger for film and television productions and in radio and the theater. Recently she has composed more concert music for both small and large ensemble forces: orchestra, big band, chor, etc. In 2014 she won the Church of Sweden’s composition competition for her Missa Dalecarliensis.
