Ylva Lund Bergner (b. 1981), Copenhagen, Denmark
Began studying composition on the Swedish island of Gotland; continued her studies in Stockholm, Perugia, Lyon, and Copenhagen. She was accepted into the Soloist class at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and received her degree in 2012.
She has won a number of awards, including the Danish Kunstfond’s prize for women composers, for Euphorbia, and the Franciso Escudero prize, for the accordion piece Cerulean Minim.
