Ina Boyle (1889–1967), Ireland

Studied counterpoint, harmony, and composition in Dublin and for her cousin Charles Wood as well as Ralph Vaughan Williams and Percy Buck. Her compositional output spans many genres: she wrote choral pieces, ballet music, chamber works, song cycles, orchestral works (including three symphonies), and music for choir and orchestra.
