Geneviève Calame (1946–1994), Switzerland
Composer, pianist, and music educator. Teachers included Pierre Boulez. Developed methods in music pedagogy for children and worked at the l’Ecole Supérieure d’Art Visuel in Geneva. She was a prolific composer of orchestral, chamber, vocal, and electroacoustic music, as well as music for the ballet and multimedia performances.
