Chaya Czernowin (b. 1957), Israel and the United States
Studied composition in Tel Aviv at the Rubin Academy of Music, in Berlin, in the United States at the University of California, in Japan, and in Stuttgart at the Akademie Schloss Solitude. Professor in the Department of Music at Harvard University.
She has composed orchestral and chamber music. She wrote the opera Pnima…ins Innere for the Munich Biennale 2000.
