Violinist, composer, and music pedagogue. Made her debut as a concert violinist at age 14 at the Royal Albert Hall, London. Studied at the Royal College of Music and later in Leipzig and Berlin. A rheumatic condition ended her career as a violinist. She studied composition for Ottorini Respighi and in the years after 1929 she composed six operas, a large number of songs, and chamber pieces.
