Victorine Louise Farrenc (1826–1859), France

Gifted pianist and composer. Daughter of Louise Farrenc. Victorine was a musical prodigy, with her talent evident as early as age five. In her 20s she composed romances, piano pieces, and songs. Beginning in 1843 she studied piano for her mother at the Paris Conservatory. She contracted tuberculosis in 1847.
