Jacqueline Fonteyn (b. 1930), Belgium
Has composed for orchestra, chamber ensemble, opera, and voice; in total over 100 works. Was professor of music theory at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and later at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. She is a member of the Belgian Royal Academy. In 1993 she was granted the title of baroness by the King of Belgium.
