Åse Hedstrøm (b. 1950), Norway and Sweden
Studied music at the Institute of Sonology, Utrecht, and for Sven-David Sandström. She has headed the Ultima Festival in Oslo and the Stockholm Concert Hall, and is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. She has composed solo instrumental music and works for chamber ensemble and large instrumental ensemble.
