Miriam Beatrice Hyde (1913–2005), Australia.

Composer, pianist, poet, and music educator. Studied at the Royal College of Music, London; returned to Australia in 1936, where she was active as both a performer and a teacher. She wrote orchestral works, several piano concertos, chamber pieces, and solo instrumental music.
