Isabella Leonarda (1620–1704), Italy
Leonarda composed more than 200 works. They are preserved in the Biblioteca del Liceo Musicale, Bologna. Twenty were published during her lifetime, the earliest in 1642. Her output includes solo motets (her main genre), masses, psalms, violin sonatas, and other vocal music.
