Composer, vocalist, performer, choreographer. Studied at Sarah Lawrence College. She is best-known for her innovative vocal works, which she performs herself as a soloist or in her own vocal ensembles. She also composes instrumental and solo instrumental music, chamber and orchestral works, and film music and opera.
