Geraldine Mucha, née Thomsen (1917–2012), United Kingdom, Czech Republic
Born in Scotland; studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music, London. After WWII she emigrated with her husband, the author Jiří Mucha, to Prague. She composed a large number of pieces, including orchestral, chamber, and choral works, and variations on folk tunes.
