Cornélie van Oosterzee (1863–1943), the Netherlands
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia. Began piano studies at age 16 in Holland; later studied in Stuttgart and Berlin. She wrote the opera Das Gelöbnis and works for orchestra, for piano, and for chamber ensemble.
