Maria Teresa Pelegrí i Marimón (1907–1995), Spain
Began studying piano as a child and continued throughout her youth. She began to compuse first later in life, after a hiatus in her musical activites of more than 20 years to raise a family. She composed solo instrumental, chamber, and orchestral works (including a requiem for flute, cello, organ, and choir).
