Synne Skouen (b. 1950), Norway
Studied composition at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. She was a member of the experimental music theater group Die Fremden. She was the first music director for Norwegian Broadcasting’s arts channel, P2.
She has composed solo instrumental, vocal, chamber, choral, and orchestral works as well as music for the ballet and opera.
