Iris Szeghy (b. 1956), Slovakia
Studied piano and composition in Košice, at the Music Academy in Bratislava, and in Budapest, Warsaw, and San Diego. She has been composer-in-residence at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart and at the State Opera in Hamburg. She has composed many pieces for orchestra, for chamber ensemble, and for voice. Resides in Switzerland.
