Hilda Aurora Thegerström (1838–1907), Sweden
Piano, composer, and distinguished piano teacher. Studied at the A. F. Lindblad school of muisc and for Franz Berwald; later also for A. F. Marmontel in Paris and Franz Liszt in Weimar. Toured as a pianist; also arranged concerts, including a concert in Uppsala in which a young Kristina Nilsson made her stage debut. She composed several piano pieces and a set of finger exercises, Några elementar-piano-fingeröfvningar (1859). Martha Ohlson also set down a collection of her scales and exercises: Skalor och övningar efter Hilda Thegerström.
