Rosy Wertheim (1888–1967), the Netherlands

Pianist, composer, and music educator. Studied piano, harmony, and counterpoint and graduated from the Nederlandse Toonkunstenaars Vereniging. She taught at the Amsterdam Music Lyceum and directed children’s and women’s choirs. She composed songs and choral works, solo instrumental works, and works for chamber ensemble and for orchestra.
