Margrit Zimmermann (b. 1927), Switzerland
Pianist, conductor, and composer. Studied composition in Paris for Arthur Honegger and conducting for Igor Markevich and Hans Swarowski. She has written music for chamber orchestra, symphony orchestra, solo instruments (including violin, piano, and brass instruments), and the ballet.
